“ There are few times in life that you walk through the doors of a place and have this experience. Yes I am talking about a Hot Dog shop. But you must understand that inside that door I met a man dedicated to his service and customers. I also, without asking, know the owner of this little hot dog shop is a servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are commanded to do everything we do as believers to the glory of God. This is a tall order. As Christians we should excell, be the best at what we do. My hot dogs were good and I love hot dogs. And the experience of eating a hot dog can vary widely and you sure don't know what to expect. High expectations were met and that makes me happy. But the true cherry on top was the man behind the counter. Humble and loving he does his craft and treats everyone like he wants to be treated. I observed this and experienced this first hand and was only there for about 15 mins. Sir, thank you for what you do and who you are. Great hot dog too!! ”

“ Stopped by for a quick snack before going to a dinner with friends because, as a self-proclaimed hot dog afficionado, I HAD to go here. They have Brightleaf hot dogs, which are the best in my humble Eastern NC opinion. Nearly everyone who walked in to place an order, Ken knew who they were. Excellent service, great food, and cool, eclectic local folk art. Ken created all the art himself, and it's pretty cool. Cash only, dine in or take out. I had 1 all the way and 1 county line with, of course, a Mtn Dew. A nice bite of local culture. ”
